Now a Registered Play Therapist

I am excited to share that I am now licensed as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT)

with the international Association for Play Therapy.

Play Therapy for Children

My years of training to become a Registered Play Therapist have grown a deep respect and admiration for the power of Play Therapy. It has equipped me to serve with joy and awe as children often become a far more healthy, confident, resilient and capable version of themselves. I serve children ages 4-10 years old, and their families.

Play Therapist | Child Therapist

A Play Therapist is a Therapist who has previously met the State Board requirements to be a Licensed Professional Counselor and then completed additional education, supervision and licensure to serve as a professional counselor that also specializes in therapy for children and their families.

Research shows that children generally do not receive counseling

until they have gotten into trouble with an adult.

Early Intervention | Child Mental Health

As a Therapist that offers professional counseling to children and adults, I find that many parents see signs that therapy could be helpful but do not pursue or act on the help until it becomes more concerning or problematic.
